Ms. Kimberley S. Jones, Ed.S, NCC, NCSC

Hi! I am Ms. Kim Jones. I am honored to serve as School Counselor at Bell Academy. I am a life-long resident of Cleveland, MS and a product of the Cleveland School District (graduate of East Side High School '95). I attended Delta State University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Education in School Counseling, as well as an Educational Specialist Degree in School Counseling. My past work experience includes working as a Licensed Social Worker and Therapist in Bolivar County.

I am a National Board Certified School Counselor and a member of the American School Counseling Association, Mississippi Counseling Association, and the newly-formed Magnolia State School Counseling Association.

It is my job to offer a comprehensive counseling program to all students by providing direct and indirect services that help students focus on their academic,career, and social/emotional development so they can achieve success in school and are prepared to become lifelong learners and productive citizens. By offering solution-focused and cognitive behavior techniques as the core of the problem-solving process, students are able to focus on their strengths and resources to solve challenges in an effective manner. My goal is to assist them in becoming the best versions of themselves.

I have two daughters, Kierra (25) and Kailah (16). In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching comedy/drama movies, and traveling.
