  • Hayes Cooper's Sixth Grade Class of 2018

    The Hayes Cooper Sixth Grade Graduation was held on May 22, 2018. Keith Fulcher of Delta State University was the guest speaker. Mr. Fulcher discussed the value of Hayes Cooper to the Cleveland community. Iris Xue was the Valedictorian, and Marianna Fulcher was the Salutatorian. We wish our sixth grade class of 2018 the best, and we are going to miss you. We look forward to seeing your future accomplishments! You have a strong foundation. #alwaysapatriot

  • Hayes Cooper Announces 3K Program

    A great education just got better! We are pleased to announce we will begin a 3K education program for the 2018-2019 school year. Did you know that 80% of the children that attended our 4K program showed kindergarten readiness on the MKAS2 test? We offer a superior, developmentally sound program.   • 2018-2019 Educational Excursions Planned

    Information will be sent home about our upcoming educational excursions for the 2018-2019 school year. Students begin participating in overnight excursions in third grade with Camp McDowell. This year, fourth grade will return to St. Louis and the Shaw Nature Reserve. Fifth Grade will travel to the American Village and extend their learning from an intensive unit on civil rights by touring the Civil Rights Museum. This year, the sixth grade will travel to South Carolina for a marine wildlife research camp.

  • Students Win Regional Essay Contest

    Every year, Kroger Delta sponsors an essay an poetry contest for children around Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee for grades 3-12 to promote Black History Month. This year's theme was The Dream: Past, Present and Future. This year marked the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King,Jr. Congratulations to these two local winners. Both young ladies attend Hayes Cooper Center, Tiara Williams, first place, and Jaidyn Bryant, third place winner.

  • Iris Xue is the Runner-Up in State Spelling Competition.

    Iris Xue was the state runner-up in 2018 State Spelling Bee Competition. Approximately 50 students ranging in the ages of 9 to 14 competed.

  • Student is a Finalist in State Geography Bee

    Rushyendranath Nalamalapu was a finalist in the state geography bee held in Jackson, Mississippi. The finalists for the school competition were Holt Fortner and Patrick Wessel. We are proud of Rushyendranath for representing Hayes Cooper in this state-level competition.

  • Sixth and Fifth Grade Visit D.C.

  • CHESS RULES AT HAYES COOPER

    Thanks to our gifted teachers and the efforts of Janella Sampolesi, chess rules at Hayes Cooper! We held our first school-wide chess tournament this year, and many kids showed their incredible talents. We look forward to many more chess games.

  • Hayes Cooper Center Alumni Senior Walk

    Former HCC students that graduated high school were invited to walk the halls of Hayes Cooper to celebrate their success as a high school graduate. It was a nice time to reminisce and discuss future plans.
