  • Healthy School Award

One of the many wonderful things about Bell Academy are the initiatives taken to promote student, staff, and community health. We are fortunate to have the opportunities with community partnerships to apply for grants that will allow us to continue our health initiatives. We are honored to have been chosen as a recipient of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation Healthy School Award for 2021.

  • National Gardening Day

Happy National Gardening Day!!! We have been busy lately in the garden! Here are a few highlight photos from the last few months. The students had started their seeds in seed trays, which have grown in our greenhouse. The seedlings are now ready to plant and the students have planted basil, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, celery, eggplant, peppers, sage, and tomatoes. Students have prepared garden beds, cleaned out old plants, and planted new seeds (beans, carrots, corn, radishes, peas, lettuce and flowers) and red potatoes. Next up, cucumbers, squash, melons, sweet potatoes, and sunflowers.
