Hello! 

I am from Jackson, MS and came to Cleveland in 2010 to play softball at DSU. During my undergraduate time, I met my now husband, Jared and we both landed jobs here so we have never left! This past year we welcomed our little girl, Blaire, into the world and it has been so much fun since!

I have my undergraduate and masters degree from DSU, with hopes to persue my specialist soon (wish me luck)!

This is my 3rd year teaching art at CCMS! I taught science at Margaret Green for 2 years before this, making this school year my 5th year teaching. I also coach softball for the middle school and high school, and I drive a bus route for Hayes Cooper. I love what I do and love the busy life that these parts of my job bring. 

I hope that within my art class, the students learn some art (of course), time management, and how to be a good person for themselves and for society. I aim to be a fun and effective teacher that learns with my students.
