Announcements:
* If you have not already done so, please sign and return the permission slip for the field trip scheduled for April 20th to Outdoor Adventure Park. Funds are due by March 29th.
*Work on Multiplication Facts Daily
*Report cards go home on Friday, March 24th. All make up work must be completed by the end of the day, Tuesday, March 21st.
*Easter Holiday is April 7th and 10th
*State Test Dates
ELA- Tuesday, April 18th
Writing- Thursday, April 27th
Math- Tuesday, May 2nd

Announcements:
*Students must have at least 2 passed lessons and 60 minutes in Reading and Math iReady each week. Some students may need to work on this at home.
*Work on multiplication recall of facts daily. We will add 7's to the Mad Minute this week.
*We have ELS ELA (Tuesday) and ELS MATH (Wednesday) Testing. These will be treated as a "mock" test. I have planned to cover a math lesson daily with activities in science with landforms. However, I am going to monitor the students after testing and see what they are up for. Therefore, the schedule may change. I will communicate all changes through school status.
*NO SCHOOL MARCH 13-17.

Announcements:
*Black History Open House is Tuesday, February 28 from 9am-11am.
*Students must have at least 2 passed lessons and a minimum of 60 minutes in each subject weekly. (Students that attend INSPIRE, may need to work on this at home if they are not making wise use of their time at school.)
*Work on multiplication daily. We will add 7's to our weekly set next week.

*Black History projects are due Thursday, February 23rd. Students will present in class on Thursday and Friday.
*Black History Open House is Tuesday, February 28th from 9-11am.

NEWSLETTER JANUARY 30- FEBRUARY 3
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
*Valentines Day Party will be February 9th at 1:30pm. We will decorate a box in class for the party. Please have your box and supplies sent to school by Wednesday, February 1st.
*No School for Winter Break, Friday, February 10 - Monday, February 13
*Multiplication Fact Mad Minutes will begin February 15th. Make sure to practice daily.
*Students must complete 2 lessons and 60 minutes in both Reading and Math weekly. These can be worked on at home.

**Work on multiplication facts daily. We will begin weekly multiplication mad minute in four weeks.
**We work on iReady during WIN time daily. However, those students that miss some or all of WIN time must work on iReady at home. Please check for 2 passed lessons and 60 minutes weekly in both math and reading. Not to mention, it is a fabulous resource for extra practice!
**Valentine's Party will be February 9th at 1:30pm. This is a regular school day. It is the Thursday before winter break.
**Winter Break is Friday, February 10th and Monday, February 13th. No school these days.

*Please make sure to monitor iReady progress. Students must complete 60 minutes weekly and at least 2 passed lessons. They are able to work on these at home and serve as great lesson reinforcement.
