Pandemic-EBT P-EBT

PANDEMIC-EBT or P-EBT

Updated 11/7/2022

The P-EBT program is experiencing some delays with the card manufacturing company. Some eligible children still have not received a card. Based on what we know now, we expect cards for these children to be issued in mid-November.  If you have questions, please call the P-EBT call center at 1-833-316-2423.

All questions and address changes should be directed to the P-EBT Call Center. P-EBT Call Center began accepting address changes on October 3, 2022. Before any changes are made, parents must provide the following information: student first and last name, parent first and last name, student date of birth, and student MSIS number. Parents will receive emails from the Mississippi Department of Human Services with status updates on any requests. New cards are being issued to all eligible P-EBT participants. Students who were enrolled in the Cleveland School District on the last school day of the 2021-2022 school year (May 25, 2022) are eligible to receive P-EBT benefits.

Updated 7/28/2022

We do not know yet if Mississippi will be approved to issue more P-EBT benefits in the future. The Cleveland School District participates in the Community Eligibility Program. There is no need to complete a meal application for students who attend schools in Cleveland School District.

If Mississippi is approved to issue more P-EBT benefits in the future, P-EBT cards for newly eligible children will be mailed to the most recent mailing address on file at their school.

Please contact Magan Skinner, MSIS Coordinator, at mskinner@cleveland.k12.ms.us or 662-843-3529 ext 0124 with your questions regarding P-EBT.
