Chromebooks run the Chrome OS, an operating system that has cloud storage. User has access to their district google drive and other apps provided by the district through Google Workspace for Education.

Chromebooks are set to automatically update through the school domain.

How to resolve an issue if the microphone or camera is not working in Chrome.

Check that the camera or microphone setting is not set to block.

1. Select the 3 dots in Chrome and select settings.

       2. Search the word "blocked" and click the arrow for Site Settings.

       3. Listed will be site settings for both Camera and Microphone. Click the arrow to the right of each device. 

     
  4. Under section Block, if there are any sites listed, click the trash can to remove them.
