    • Make sure you check your child's folder everyday for important information and to reinforce what we have worked on in class and send it back to school each day. Make sure you fill out the cafeteria form for the week so we will know when your child is suppose to eat in the cafeteria (B/L).  Every child needs an extra uniform set of clothes in his/her backpack.
    • HCC SPIRIT DAY-On Fridays your child may wear jeans and a HCC t-shirt or the school uniform. They can also wear purple or a CCHS Wolves T-Shirt.

    REMINDERS FROM THE CLASSROOM

    **PARENTS**PLEASE check your child's folder EVERY day & make sure it is in his/her backpack each morning before returning to school. Also, please make sure your child has an extra change of clothes every day in his/her backpack. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD'S LUNCH ACCOUNT DOES NOT REACH A ZERO BALANCE. THE CAFETERIA WILL NOT ALLOW STUDENT CHARGES. PLEASE SEND LUNCHROOM $ IN A LABELED ENVELOPE, AS NEEDED, IN YOUR CHILD'S FOLDER. PLEASE LABEL INCLUDING YOUR CHILD'S NAME, LUNCH #, & TEACHER'S NAME ON THE ENVELOPE. WE DO NOT OPEN THE ENVELOPES NOR HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR CHILD'S ACCOUNT. The LUNCH NUMBERS are on the children's folder.

     

    Everyone has received a car tag to hang from their rearview mirror. Please be sure to use it in carpool line so the traffic will flow faster. As we teach your child his/her carpool number be sure to reinforce it at home as well. FYI: Walk-in Parents---- You must enter/exit through the front lobby to the cafeteria. All students in the cafeteria must be seated first; then they will be released to their parents by the duty teacher. Please be patient as we adjust to the dismissal procedure! This is for safety reasons.
    Your child has also received a lunch number to use in the cafeteria. We will begin to teach your child this number and will need you to practice it at home as well.
     

    CAFETERIA PRICES are as follows: Reduced Price Breakfast $.30  Full Price Breakfast $1.75 Reduced Price Lunch $.40 Full Price Lunch $2.70  Milk only at Lunch $.40 

    If your child comes in the classroom past 8:00am, you must go with your child to the office & sign the tardy book, so that your child will not be counted absent. The children leave the classroom at 8:00 each morning to go to breakfast. Please make sure your child is in the classroom BEFORE 7:50. Do NOT drop your child off at school before 7:30am. The duty teacher will not open the doors until 7:30. This is to ensure that no child is in the classroom without adult supervision. 4K parents/guardians may enter the cafeteria at 2:45pm to pick up their child or pick up their child in the carpool line in the car line in front of the school. Your child should be picked up no later than 3pm. You should only enter GATE A (on old Hwy 61), or park on Lee St. (south end of school) and walk to pick up your child in the cafeteria.

    STUDENTS MUST BE FREE OF FEVER 24 HOURS BEFORE RETURNING TO SCHOOL AFTER AN ILLNESS. UPON RETURN, PLEASE SEND A WRITTEN EXCUSE CONTAINING THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: (You may print an excuse form from my SCHOOL INSITES.)1. Name of student 2. Date of excuse 3. Date(s) of absence 4.
