Mrs. Yolanda Ross
"If a child can't learn in the way that I teach, then I must teach in a way that he can learn."
My name is Yolanda Ross and I am from Cleveland, MS. I am married to my amazing husband and we share one energetic son, EJ. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to church, and traveling. I have worked as an Inclusion Teacher for 10 years. This year, I'll be taking on the exciting task of teaching Self-Contained. I have a strong belief that all children are capable of learning. I truly believe that education is the key to success. In my quest for success, I have obtained several degrees. After graduating from East Side High School in 2005, I attended Mississippi State University. In 2009, I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Educational Psychology. In 2012, I obtained my Master's Degree in Special Education from Delta State University. In 2014, I obtained my Specialist's Degree in Elementary Education from Delta State University as well. I am currently pursuing a second Master's in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College.
As an educator, I feel that teachers can help change and shape the world; one student at a time!!
