Dr. Kristi Harris, Director


    Dr. Kristi Harris is a native of Shelby, MS and a graduate of Broad Street High School. She received her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Administration from Mississippi Valley State University, a Master's of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Central Michigan University, a Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix, and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from NorthCentral University.
    Dr. Harris has 20 years of experience in education. She has served as Federal Programs/Curriculum Director, Middle School Principal, 21st Century Director, Lead Teacher, CTE Contact Person, School Testing Coordinator, and Classroom Teacher.
    Dr. Harris has a great passion for the field of education. She will work diligently as a Federal Programs Coordinator to ensure that all students we serve are provided equal opportunity to become productive citizens in this ever-changing global society.

     The vision of the Cleveland School District Office of Federal Programs is to support schools in the efficient and effective use of Federal Funds as a means to promote student academic achievement. 


    Departmental Goals:

    • Provide guidance and suppot to all stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of all federal programs
    • Ensure the expenditure of federal funds is reasonable, necccessary and allocable 
    • Use appropriate data sources to ensure that both school and district plans promote student academic achievement
