I am from Cleveland, MS where I have been living for 36 years! I graduated from Bayou Academy in 2004 and pursued my Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Hearing. In 2014, I earned my Master's Degree in Special Education from Delta State University. My husband and I have a sassy little girl, Emmi, who keeps our world spinning faster and faster! 

This is my 2nd year teaching resource at Bell Academy. My 8th year total for teaching, where I previously taught resource at Cleveland Central Middle School. Each day is a day of learning for me and my students! I believe in maintaining a happy and positive working environment. My focus for my resource room is designed to develop, strengthen, and improve skills for performance and achievement.

My name is Katie Boykin and this is my 8^th year as a school-based Speech- Language Pathologist.

I am originally from Yazoo City, MS but moved to Cleveland to attend Delta State University. I received a BS in Speech and Hearing from DSU and then attended the University of Central Arkansas for graduate school where I obtained my Master’s in Communication Disorders. After graduate school I moved back to Cleveland and have been here ever since!

In my spare time I enjoy being with my husband and kids (2 boys-they keep me very busy!), playing competitive tennis, traveling, and exercising/running.
