Mrs. Vivian A. Wilder
Born and raised in Shaw, MS, I am the oldest of three girls. I am the parent of four awesome children: Ronell, 29 (U.S. Air Force); Kierra, 25 (Licensed Barber); Tardysha, 20 (Junior-Delta State); and Raydarius, 11 (6th Grade - D.M. Smith Elementary). I am also a foster parent. What can I say? I just love children!
I have enjoyed 18 years in the field of education. Everyday is different with middle schoolers. Graduating with a B.S. in Computer Science and a masters in MAT (Masters in the Art of Teaching), I've taught 7th and 8th grade Language Arts, 6th and 7th grade mathematics, 8th grade Computer Discovery, 7th grade ICT I, and currently 7th grade Cyber Foundations I. I completed my first 8 years at HCJH (Humphreys County Junior High School) where I served as the Junior Beta Club sponsor, assistant softball coach, girls' high school and junior high track coach. After moving, I hung up my coaching shoes to focus more time on foster parenting. My next 9 years were spent at D.M. Smith Middle School before my transition into the Cleveland Central Middle School merger where I have been graced with opportunity to gain more professional family members.
