Paula Sington has been registered nurse in the health care industry since 1996 with a vast experience in the field as a nurse and health care management.
In addition to her instructor duties, Sington serves as the Cleveland School District HOSA-Future Health Professionals advisor, and is a part of the Mississippi HOSA Competitive Events Committee, and was elected 2019-2020 Health Science Technology Education (HSTE) President.
Sington’s medical expertise includes emergency room, dialysis and acute dialysis, home health and school nurse, along with home health management and insurance coding and chart auditing.
The Gadsden, Ala., native graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
She is married to Fred Sington who is employed at Delta State University. They have a son, the late Daniel Seckel, and a daughter, Sarah Wright (Tristin) and two grandsons, Kaden and Liam.
