Mrs. Joyce Aycock

Hello and welcome to PE. I graduated from Delta State University in 1990 with a Master’s Degree in Physical Education.   I have also been a  National Board Certified Teacher since 2006. I am a standing board member for the Mississippi Alliance for Health Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (MSAPHERD). In 2019, I received an Honor Award in recognition of outstanding contributions to the profession through excellence in teaching, a commitment to service, and dedicated leadership. In 2021, I was honored with the Pride in Teaching award in recognition of my dedication and committment for outstanding teaching in the profession. 

I have teaching experience that includes Pre-Kindergarten through college.  I began teaching at Bell Academy in 2015, and it has been a breath of fresh life.  Teaching young students has energized me!  I have two sons, John Thomas, 23 and Reese, 18.
