This is my first year at Cleveland Central High School, but my 18th year of teaching.  I was born and raised in Cleveland, MS and I love the Delta.  I have a degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation with a minor in Special Education.  I have a masters' degree in Special Education.  I have taught special education for 17 years and this year I am in a new field of STEM education.

I am married to Ricky Smither from Thibodaux, LA.  We have 2 children Russ who is 19 and attends Delta State Univeristy and is a member of the DSU Statesmen Football Team.  Our Daughter Kaitlyn is in the 6th grade and is very active in dance and softball. I love spending time with my family, I enjoy watching football and all types of sports.  I am an avid deer hunter and love being outdoors.
