Greetings! It is an honor to be afforded the opportunity and privilege to serve the students, teachers, parents, and community of Cleveland as Principal of H.M. Nailor Elementary School for another year!
I am a proud native of Mound Bayou, MS. I am the daughter of Herman & Anita Norwood. I am the youngest of three. I have two brothers; Roderick Lee Sr. & the late Morris Norwood.

I am entering my 14th year in the education realm. I served in the Leland School District at Leland Elementary for seven years where I taught Kindergarten and First Grade. In 2014, I transitioned to the Cleveland School District to H.M. Nailor Elementary, where I taught K-1 Transition, First Grade and Second Grade Language Arts. I also have experience in the virtual classroom. For two years, I worked for Educate Online Inc., where I was a Reading and Math tutor for K-12 students all over the United States of America. Briefly, I was employed with Pearson, Inc. as a Professional Scorer for statewide assessments. In 2018, I began my principalship at H.M. Nailor Elementary School.

It is has been and will continue to be an absolute honor to lead and serve the teachers, students, and parents of H.M. Nailor Elementary School. There is no other place I'd rather be. I look forward to a successful school year at H.M. Nailor Elementary as we labor under the theme "All Aboard the Nailor Express to Success!"
