Bell Academy visits the White House

5th & 6th Grade students of Bell Academy recently had the opportunity to visit our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C.  Mrs. Ginger Worthington, teacher, and Mrs. Sonya Swafford, Principal, supervised a group of 36 chaperones and students during this week long adventure. Students were able to visit several Smithsonian museums, numerous memorials and monuments, tour the Capitol building and Ford’s Theatre, and much more.  Students even ate at the infamous Ben’s Chili Bowl where President Obama ate the day he was elected to his first term.  Pictured is the Bell Academy group in front of The White House located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
